As you noticed, we did not have a meeting this month. Our next meeting is March 19th hosted by the Greater Waco Chamber located at 101 S. 3rd Street in Waco. Our meeting begins at 11:45 a.m. and lunch is provided. Our numbers are growing so please be sure to RSVP for our lunch to chelles@ci.waco.tx.us. Additional reminders will be sent out prior to the meeting.

March’s meeting is crucial to our work at the HOTHC. We will set our priorities for 2010 not only to focus this year’s work, but also to include them in our upcoming HUD Continuum of Care grant application.

Also this month, you will receive reminders from me regarding our annual membership renewals. Please know your membership is important to us. It not only shows your support for the coalition, but your involvement greatly increases our standing with receiving funds from HUD’s Continuum of Care grant. This funding keeps our shelters open, our programs operating, and gives our neighbors who live in homelessness the help they so desperately need. Please consider renewing your membership or becoming a member if you have not done so already. We need your assistance in keeping our programs going.
