On October 7, the Brook Oaks Senior Residences Facility was dedicated. This residence was built through the collaboration of Mercy Housing and the Providence Healthcare Network. The residence, which is located at the corner of 17th and Colcord in Waco, will have fifty-four single bedroom apartments for senior citizens with a low income. The facility will also include access to case-workers to assist in serving the seniors on an case-by-case basis with supportive services tailored to their individual needs. Providence donated the land, which formerly held its original hospital, had the land cleared and helped secure local funding and support. Mercy Housing is a national agency that helps cities build affordable supportive housing.

Qti Apparel and Promotions has graciously donated two products that will be included in next year’s membership packages.
