Volunteer at Project Homeless Connect
This year 80 – 100 volunteers are needed to assist connecting Waco’s homeless to appropriate social services.
Project Homeless Connect is a one stop shop that connects our city’s homeless to these resources. The event is only 3 hours. All it takes it a little training.

Family Abuse Center Volunteer Training
We here at the Family Abuse Center cherish our volunteers. People that are willing to donate their time and efforts are essential to making our shelter run smoothly and efficiently. There are a variety of different volunteer positions open and available that can fit almost any schedule, skill, and desire. You could chose to man the phone lines and be prepared to take crisis calls or you could choose to work behind the scenes organizing our hygiene closet and food pantry. Both jobs (and all in-between) are critical in making the shelter a more comfortable and safe place to stay for our families in need. Click here for more information.
