Help Plan National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week
Last year Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week made a huge impact. Bread for the World reports that congress passed 2 acts that will enhance food security and stable residences. Shepherd’s Heart and Wheels of Sharing Mobile Food Pantry distributed food to 351 families. The Food for Families food drive collected more than 1.2 million pounds of food.
This year we would like to reach out to the more than 1,200 homeless youth that are living in Waco.
