About PHC

The next Project Homeless Connect will be at the end of January (date is being finalized) from 9am-12pm. It is located at the Waco Convention Center’s McLennan Hall, located at 100 Washington Ave in Waco. The Entrance is off of the Franklin Ave parking lot by the Freedom Fountain and the Hilton.

Project Homeless Connect is sponsored by the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition, The City of Waco, NeighborWorks Waco, the Department of Veteran Affairs, and other community partners to provide services and resources for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Our goal is to provide convenient access to community resources to help facilitate movement out of homelessness. Referrals and services offered include: Employment Assistance Haircuts · Health & Vision Screenings · HIV Testing · Housing Information · Hygiene Items · Pet Care · Social Services · Veterans Benefits · Dental Screenings and more. Through Project Homeless Connect efforts, we hope to not only have resources to help people move out of homelessness but also quality of life offerings to extend kindness and compassion to our neighbors.

Animal Birth Control Clinic will be providing transportation to their clinic to provide same day services such as exams, vaccinations, heartworm/flea/tick medication, nail trimming, heartworm testing, microchipping, and spay/neutering.
