Due to safety concerns regarding COVID-19, the Project Homeless Connect Committee of HOTHC has made the difficult decision to cancel Summer 2020’s Project Homeless Connect Event.
With the support of our community members, we will instead be bringing the event to our homeless community through small targeted outreach efforts via the PATH Street Outreach Team.
How you can help:
- Please send your agency’s most up-to-date information on your current services to heartoftexashomelesscoalition@gmail.com.
- Share our needs list with your social groups, church groups, friends, and family. Coming soon!

Project Homeless Connect is sponsored by the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition, The City of Waco, NeighborWorks Waco, the Department of Veteran Affairs, and other community partners to provide services and resources for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Our goal is to provide convenient access to community resources to help facilitate movement out of homelessness. Referrals and services offered include: Employment Assistance Haircuts · Health & Vision Screenings · HIV Testing · Housing Information · Hygiene Items · Pet Care · Social Services · Veterans Benefits · Dental Screenings and more. Through Project Homeless Connect efforts, we hope to not only have resources to help people move out of homelessness but also quality of life offerings to extend kindness and compassion to our neighbors.
